Respectfully,
Same here. What many don't realize is that in this place, you have to go and die many times before you learn how to work together as a group and how to survive as a group (and as an individual). Many people just give up--after 3 or 4 trips though, you can usually see some real progress. It's a great dungeon, I think--it takes a real group and real teamwork and real leadershipand real experience, and then it can be done without too much trouble.

As a Master Pistoleer and Master Squad Leader I was a curious to see if the Death Watch Bunker could be soloed. Here's my story.
I knew this was going to be a tough go (I had never been there before but had heard stories) so I picked up a full set of buffs in Coronet and then jumped in my fighter to Endor. I donned my 80% resists Comp Armor, took a couple of swigs of brandy, ate some air cake andsynthsteak and jetted on my bike out to the Bunker.
First thing to do was to sneak past the Super Battle Droids roaming around the area outside the place. This proved not to be too difficuIt as the droids have brains the size of walnuts... Igrouped with my trusty Probot (gaining my Squad Leader bonuses to defense - and ability to use my specials) and headed down the ramp into the bunker.
As I turned the first corner I could see down the ramp ahead of me what looked to be a lone redstandard Battle Droid(those "Roger Roger" robotantiques from the Clone Wars). Alright, taking a look at my map, it looks like he will see me before I can turn the corner to get to a door there. I switch to my DX2 (acid) pistol as I see he has the lowest resists to this (only 40%!). I move forward cautiously to see if he will aggro me and sure enough just as I get to the corridor intersection he opens fire. "Pfft", I'm thinking to myself, "What is one stupid droid going to do to me..." So I open fire with my DX2 spaming specials at it all the while the Probot is blasting away at it too.
Well my poor Probot didn't last long....
And I wasn't too far behind it.... Remember - I'm fully buffed, stomach full of goodies, in 80% composite. I would say within 10 seconds I was down to about 1/4 health, mind almost gone, with half my action bar left, and bleeding...
I beat feet out of there, running over the heap of parts the Probot had been blasted into and into the woods crying like a little baby....That ONE Battle Droid put the smack down on me hard!
Luckily I didn't run straight into one of the SUPER Battle Droids onthe way out inmy blind panic...
Once I was safely hiding in the woods to lick my wounds, I took a look at the Battle Droids HAM stats (never de-targeted the thing in my rush to save my booty...) - WHAT!? I hit it with my best specials and the Probot had shot it numurous times (albeit in the very short timewe had) and I only scratched it. There was only a tiny chunk taken off its health bar. And I do mean tiny.
Okay, maybe this will take a little longer that I thought...
After getting back to full HAM, I ventured back in and shot first this time (just like Han...). End result: rereadparagraphs 6 and 7....
"Well that does it for me" I thought,"I have had my taste of the DWB". I pulled out my speeder and head back to theOutpost mulling over my experience (aka terror). If I as anElitecombat profession (yeah Pistols - I know) can't put a dent in the very first guardian I encounter in this place, let alone theDOZENS upon DOZENS of other red targets that were showing on my map and radar, this place in no way can be soloed and is truly deserving the title: DEATH Watch Bunker....

I have tk and Commando, I have commando so I don't have to tank.
You probably need two groups of twenty to even make it half-way through the bunker.

I've been in groups of 8-10 that have completed several runs to the DWB.

How many Jedi Knights does it take to do the bunker?
~ Sorry, I don't know the punchline!

I've been able to hold my own in there in a smaller group, the trick is simple. When you show up don't put your bike away. Agrro as many SBD or Battle Droids using the /taunt command. Run like hell to your bike, make sure they follow you out, then drive off into the woods in a specific direction and keep hitting peace. This will save you about 15 min at least. Head back and continue into the bunker. (Please note that this tactic will work only a few times, I recommend you only do it twice at most) If you can get at least two Tank's for the group I recommend Master Commandos and Master Rifleman as well as BH's and most definatly some Medical professions. Also make sure have have the code for the second door, otherwise you ain't goin' any further. A group of 10 shouldn't have any problems as long as you STAY TOGETHER! and WORK TOGETHER. The DWB is not a Loot haven, so if people are going there to get as much loot as they can then those people will be the first ones to die because they will go running off first. Dont Spam Specials since it's not going to do a whole lot for you. Put DoT's on then tank. And make sure your group all focuses on One SBD at a time, even if multiple SBD's are attacking. Respawn rate is about 4-5 min to keep moving.

Valcyn crafted it's first jetpack last night. Group of 19 people, 3 non-combatants among them, 4 jedi. Did it...probably 90 min or so.

It's also key that people be okay with 'taking orders' and/or working the dungeon in a very controlled fashion.

In addition to staying together and working together, it's very important not to get bogged down in any one place for too long. As mentioned....stay on the move and keep your head about you as you do.

we crafted another jetpack a week ago. 7 ppl... took about 1 hour.
Read the guide in my signature if you need info.
8 people or so can easily take on the bunker. It's just a matter of 3 things - Teamwork, Experience and Leadership.

Wengel and TK said it all...it is all about teamwork and experience. I have been in the DWB with a group of 10 that got farther than two groups of 20. The main thing that kills people in the DWB is either not having an effective leader or not listening to them. It is like no other place in the game and every large group I have gone in there with dies because of a few people that dont listen and do stupid stuff, and it only takes one group member to ruin the whole trip.

You forgot 90% Jedi; saw your video, or was that DEFI?
