A friend is leaving the game today, and he has been holding my large naboo house until i got the lots free. I have 6 lots free now, but it won't let him transfer it until all the vendors are gone. This is impossible to do, as I have over 300 items on the main vendor alone and another player's vendor in there as well.

Is there a workaround or is this a bug?

I just recently transfered one of my houses that vendors in it to an Alt toon and it worked fine and I did not have to remove the vendors. My guess isit's a bug...Just a thought, I think I did it BEFORE the new changes to merchant so maybe they changed something.

I even took down the first one it complained about, but it's still complaining.

will the house disappear when he leaves? even if it has a ton of maintenance in it?

If he owns it and his account is deleted I'm pretty sure his character and everything he owns will disappear.

If you can't get it transfered with the vendors still in place you may need to just set up a new house and re setup shop....you might try sending in a ticket to a CSR to see if they know anything or if they can help you out

What planet are you on? I assume Naboo since that was what type of house you were talking about and your other shops are on tatooine.Im bored and I got some free time, ill make a toon and help you move if you want....no charge

It's a known bug. It began with the recent vendor changes. For now, you cannot transfer a structure that has a vendor in it. You can redeed the structure to destroy any vendors you do not own and cannot remove. Hopefully you can get the other vendor owner(s) to empty and remove their vendor(s).

If a player deletes their character, any structures they own will be deleted too. If they cancel their account but do not delete the character or any owned structures, they will be deleted from the database by the character purge after 6 months.

From the Merchant Forum: Can't /transferstructure with vendors?

DocSavage: As many of your have encountered already currently if you try to transfer a structure with a vendor inside it you get an error telling you to remove the vendor before you transfer the structure. While I don't have any details or timeframes I wanted to let you know that Tiggs has confirmed that his is not intended and will be resolved. We don't know when yet but hang on and I'll let you know as soon as I have any information about when this bug will be fixed.
