ok, i can usually loot at least one crystal per 3 hour buff running Janta and Mokk missions. (in my experience, Mokks drop crystals more often).
to judge their worth, i think you need to show them to a Jedi. (i collect them for my museum, and trade them for ones i don't have, so i don't know how to tell value)
the highest paying missions are certain Rancor Types, which pay out 36k or more.
but, the highest paying missions are the best to take to earn the most money. creature missions take a lot longer, as there are more things to kill. if you are strictly looking for money and loot, and not xp or organics, you can't go wrong with Janta and Mokk missions on Dant. Get in a large solo group, and head to an improved job market player city. you can pull Janta Shaman and Mokk Shaman missions for 33k-34k per mission. you WILL NOT loot any credits off of these guys (at least i never have, and i've killed hundreds of them). most of the loot you will get will be stone knives and wood staffs. occasionally you'll loot a Janta knife (mind DOT stone knife), or loot kit items, or containers, or crystals. there are 4-5 NPCs per lair.
as a TKM, you should have no problem on these missions, just be sure to get food and drink to buff the mind pool, as sometimes these guys can hit the mind pretty hard.
By the way, as a related tip, if TKM is your only combat prof, try and avoid the Kunga Rockshapers. i learned that the hard way. they have medium armor and 100% kinetic resist, which means we TKMs can't touch em.
