Thread: Y-8 Mining Ship Quest Bugged -- No Y-8s to escort in Kashyyyk

I looked through several pages of posts in several forums and found nobody with the same problem. I'm on step 7 of the Y-8 mining ship quest, the one where you escort a convoy of Y-8s through dangerous space...and when I get there no ships to escort can be found.
I triple checked that I have the mission. I tried warping in from another sector of Kashyyyk (intersector hyperspace) and tried warping from Naboo I think it was. I also tried landing and going back up from Kashyyyk. I tried getting the mission again. I did all of this to no avail...
Any suggestions? Has anyone else encountered this bug or know a fix?
Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure you only have a SINGLE Space Mission at a time. If you have another space mission, complete or cancel it, than pick up the Y-8 mission again. Also finish any Ground Missions you have as well, since those can prevent you from getting missions in space.

I have only one mission which looks like aGROUND mission that says Space:Convoyand it's related to the Y-8 convoy in space... I dont have the linked oval kind of mission where it says Space:xxxxx
I have no other missions like this so I don't know if that's the problem or not.
When I click on the details the mission pane comes up empty. With just the mission clicked in the data pad it comes up with information on the left side of the datapad pane about the mission. I tried activating a waypoint on the blank pane to no avail.

I suspect the mission looking like a ground mission is related to the waypoints looking like the planet tatooine instead of the triangular pyramid-like waypoints...dont know if this is significant though

I too am having the EXACT same problem. I have no other missions and am doing this one in my krayt.
Any ideas?

Anychance some one who is not bugged could put the waypoint co ordinates here for those that are bugged to attempt to fly over to get the mission npc's to spawn

Im bugged on the same point, sent in a ticket and got the same BS of devs working on it etc.

I'm having the same problem too, perhaps they've got the system wrong, I'll try hypering to other worlds tomorrow to see if that works.

at this point too. guess we'll be getting our Y-8's in Publish 19 (ifwe're lucky)when they finally find out this quest was broken by Publish 18.
