I think we're stuck with the presets. Although I seem to remember hearing (maybe from a fan fest report) that the devs would like to implement some "skinning" options, including color customization. I think EQ or EQ2 already has this using xml files, so it's not completely outside the realm of possibility. And the UI and graphics are a separate division from the core game devs, so these kind of changes shouldn't slow down any bug fixes (since I'm not aware of any gamebreaking graphical bugs right now).

sorry but most stuff on that website is outdated... especially the tutorial for customizing the hud. since JTL was released the ui_styles.inc has been redone. my friendextractedthe newer version from one of the data.tre files and tried editing it,but it just messed up his swg so he reverted back to normal. i know someone out there has to know more about this.... just wondering if anyone knows how to replace some of the useless presets like windu_purple with the jedi ones like jedi_grey and jedi_lightning etc.. i know this can be done pretty easily i'm just not sure how to do it. i saw on an old site someone did this but the site is no longer up. swgmod.com
