Logged in today, got in a group of 20 people and headed out to do Lvl99 Quenker Ravager missions. Had the same armor and weapon on that I did yesterday. All of it in nice condition. Whack my quenkers and instead of getting 4.5k-5k per kill, I am getting 2.5-3k? Same with hitting Mokks and even some Sith. All of my xp gain is being halved. This has never happened in my entire year and a half of playing. Has there been some patch I don't know of?

I'm not sure if this applies to hunting/solo groups.. but with entertainer groups, if any dancers or musicians are not playing, the group as a whole gets lesser xp..

perhaps the same rule applies somehow? you invited people not carrying weapons maybe? or weapons they're not certified for?

with the increase amount of AFK sologroup fillers, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case

Did you have an increase in a skill tree / profession? At times xp will decrease on mobs as you increase your combat profession by obtaining skill boxes.

Reply this happened to me right after I Mastered Pilot. A few days later it was back to normal... maybe its a bug.

in my experience its always been when your at a novice or like 2/2/2/2 of an elite profession, you get oh, say 3.5k per kill instead of 4.5-5k xp. You get more xp as you get more skills in your profession

this is 100% correct and has always been like this, 31 professions mastered, i am pretty sure bout this lol.

at novice brawler, i was getting 66xp per kill for meatlumps, when i do them as master fencer i get like 5xp even though it only takes one hit to kill them on either level there

I've had this happen as well, but know how to avoid it. I'm certain that those who have experienced this situation are grinding FS xp. It truely is a dissapointment when you learn that it is going to take you TWICE as long when this happens.

A few hints:

Reboots won't work...

It is NOTa bug....
