Hey guys, I was wondering if yall can answer something for me that is driving me insane?

In JTL, I am doing a mission for the rebel alliance and I am currently working off this lady at nym's palace on Lok. I have to "hack" this "lambda" shuttle and get some info from it to see if its valuable or not for the alliance, but I have seen multiple "Lambda" shuttles and I have disabled engines, inspected them, and then docked with them. It said I found something everytime I finish docking with them, but when I go down to Lok, it says I failed it. is there a special hacking/ command thatI am not typing in or something? Am I just missing the correct ship? what amI doing wrong?

Is there more to your mission. Always check your journal log ("j" key in space) to see if additional objectives have been assigned. If your doing Tier 3 missions be prepared for a long mission. When in doubt check your journal to see if you have accomplished your mission, require further objectives or have failed. Also when in doubt don't hyper out of the system or land as this will cause an on going mission to fail if the objectives are within that system.

nah, this is teir 2, or the second set of boxes, I have to find a stranded "lambda" shuttle, and get valuable imperial information from it, I can find Lambda(scientist), but it does not count as the correct one

The only other thing I can think of is maybe you rendevous then escort the ship, but if you get too far from a escort mission it would fail before you would land. The only other possibility is that either its the wrong shuttle or its bugged. Don't know what else.

I "think" the Lamda mission is one where you have to actually end the mission manually while still in space, once you find what you're looking for. There are some missions where you just keepgetting a new waypoint after each victory, until you end it. I believe there's a place to do that within your quest journal.
