anyone? is it just a rating? or does it have any impact on your pvp?

You start off with 1200 points, as you die you lose points and as you DB others you gain points. You can check your own amount of points with /showpvp, or is it /checkpvp...lol one of the two anyways. You used to be able to see others pvp points as well by using the command with the other person targetted, I am not sure if this is still available.
That is about all I know of the system, there may be more to it.

hey all, not a big PvPer here, but i got into a fight with Silentdeath today (good fight btw), and had some help from Zipher Sirius, and Kennah Branu(thanks guys!), and we won and DBed Silentdeath. I got a system message that said, "You have fought valiantly against Silentdeath. For your part in their death your player combat rating has been adjusted to 1186".
I understand you get a higher rating with each kill, but what does that actually meen?
