I found that if u tell the npc u dont want to take the mission - then u can ask for the mission and its reset.

Simply erasing the WP only works some of the time, at best.
The better way to do it, is to talk to the NPC that gave you the mission, and when he asks you why you havent completed it yet (or how the missions going etc...) tell him you cant finish this mission right now.
Another, sometimes better option, is to talk to any other mission giving NPC, who will tell you that he cant help you because you're working for someone else.
Then choose the option "I'd rather work for you" (or equivalent).
This will reset your original NPCs mission, allowing you to take it again.

thank you for the tips, i have tried both of those methods, i have even lost my jabba faction in order to have reelo state i cant work for him and then got my faction back up. right now im just tired of wasting over 5 hours riding my swoop back and forth for nought.
i will try again sometime i suppose

getting to the point of why bother, any help would greatly be appreciated
