Anyone know the difference between EAX, EAX2, and EAX3?

From what I remember it's just the sound processor speed / type and the number / amount / type of information it can handle. In basic it's an effects processor for reverb, delay and chorus etc etc. Making things sounds more real, like in a bathroom - short reverb, in a hall - large reverb.
