Thread: Nym's Stronghold

Went to Lok to try out the themepark there. Got started on the first mission. Got the droid memory module without any problems. The only thing that attacked me was the Trained Veermok. I went to the nearest player city to take the shuttle back to Nym's stronghold. When I got back I couldn't finish the mission. I checked my inventory and noticed that I for some reason had 2 memory modules. Is the mission bugged or what?

You have to drop the item on the right person. I think you have to drop the module on Jenkins....

Jinkins, yes. That's the guy I talked to when getting back. Drop the item on the right person? How do I drop an item on someone?

Just drag it out of your inventory and onto the person - and the reason you got two modules is becuase the module automatically transfers itself to your inevntoy on opening the container, so if you pick it up also you have two - I gave mine to my mate to save him doing the quest

Hi y'all.
I'm in the process of adjusting my template to eventually have Master TK instead of Master Architect. Of the several reasons I've decided to end my career in construction, the one that weighed heaviest on this decision was that I would be able to farm my own enhancemets for my weaponsmithing. A friend of mine used to be a TKM, and has told me that at the master level I will have no problems with Nym's stronghold.
Problem is, I'm impatient, and want to get on this ASAP. At what point in TK can I go there and be confident that I'm not going to be waking up in a cloning facility (barring a major screw up)? Right now, I'm TK 1/0/0/0 (haven't changed my sig yet). I've never been to Nym's Stronghold before, so I'm not quite sure what to expect. What skills from the TK tree am I going to have to have? What should I expect from from the NPC's that I'm going to be fighting?
Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Nym's Stronghold is even easier than Jabba's Palace. If you're a TKA at all it shouldn't be a problem.

ALSO, just a bit of advice, you really should go up the speed/damage line before meditation. I always save meditaion for last.
I walked around at 0044 TK for a long time, and I had no problem killing anything that I can currently kill at master, just quicker at master.

I am a recent TKA and went there at 0011 to do large nym bases in a solo group. I died once in between the 2 missions, but I had no doc buffs and was only drinking brandy. I had stim Bs ready to go and did well considering what I was expecting. Had up to 5 or 6 on me at one time, but it was very do-able. Also picked up a few vibro motors in the process and another box to train

Thanks for the info y'all.
I quickly realized that going up the meditate line was a mistake about 10 minutes after I got it and sat down with the impression that all my wounds were going to start disappearing like my buddy's used to. I'm 1101 now and should be finishing dizzy tonight.
Thanks for the info on the Nym's guys, also. I never realized that you could do missions with them. That would probably be the best way to go on it so that I get the mission cash at the same time.
