Thread: First experience with combat droid WOW!

My entertainer has a few boxes of Novice Marksman pistol skill and a decent pistol but always gets in trouble on the way to his missions. Somehow I found a very inexpensive Probot in a vendor and decided to see if it could help me out at all.
I programmed it but it was a little flaky about "guard." Little critters would attack me during a mission and the Probot didn't seem to respond. Oh well.
It followed me to the last spawn for my mission and when I was done I noticed that I was surrounded by five or six thugs that were non-aggro. They were fairly low level so stupid me I took a shot at one and instantly they all started shooting back!
At this point "Binky" suddenly woke up and after a brief hail of laser bolts all was quiet and I was still surrounded, but by dead thugs.
So I guess the moral is never bring a gun to a Probot fight.

At least probots are better than they used to be. I carry 1 or 2 but they only ever come out when my target is in a house or tree, very handy
