Hey Guys...I've been staying in town for the most part...on the planet Talos. 2nd day to play. Anyways, I killed some bandits in town, and I now have two items called "Skill Enhancement Attachment". What are they, and how do I use them?

2nd Question is how do I quickscroll through all of my quickbars on the top? the only way I seem to be able to do it is by clicking the arrows....which is annoying during a fight.

3rd, I'm going for Marksman...I think I want to be a combat medic. Anyways...only weapons on Bazar are simple pistols and rifles....how do I find better ones?!

4th...any tips would really help!

I will try to add my 2 credits:

1.Skill enhancement attachments I believe are used for anything you equip that have "slots" on them.

2. Use the search option at the bottom of this message board for shortcuts.

3.The best weapons you can get are the player made ones. Try to do an intergalactic search instead of a local area search for weapons at the bazaar terminals. This may take awhile to search through all the possible pages and even longer to travel to the seller's planetbut sometimes it's worth it. This game has a player based economy so it's possible thereis notenough player skill to produceenough technology for the masses, or (most likely) you're not fast enough to get the good weapons from the bazaars. But be sure to have thousands of credits when you do find it.

In 1-3 days im about to put up a shop with all kinds of weapons/armors.. What server are you on?

I would just ask some marksmen around who there arms dealersare.Then send the weaponsmith a tell. Thats what I do. I'ts impossible to get a decent weapon out of the bizaree.

To scroll through the hotkeys, hit CTRL TAB or CTRL ~ (one for each direction forward or back)

To select a specific toolbar, do CTRL-<F-Key>

Example:

CTRL-F1 selects Toolbar Set 1

CTRL-F2 selects Toolbar Set 2

etc.

I always reserve toolbar set 1 for combat actions, so if I'm jumped while crafting (or anything else that has me off my combat toolbar) I can quickly select my combat actions by CTRL-F1

On buying weapons. You can only use a weapon to it's full effect if your certified for it.
Check your skill box for the weapon class you selected to see what weapon your certified to use. Then go find the best type of that weapon.

Also if your shopping on the Bazzar, beware of the names. Sellers can rename the Item.
Check the details of the weapon to make sure your getting what you want.

Best bet is to just find a good weapon smith.

My friend stopped playing several months ago and now doesnt plan on returning. I have a few questions Ihope you wonderful folks can help me with.

My friend was a pre village unlocker. Can I reroll his main char without messing up the jedi slot?

What are the rules on visibility?

What are factional advantages/disadvantages?

What else could I possibly need to know?

1. Im not buying it. Its honestly being given. I helped this guy grind to jedi.

2. I cant find the info on the reroll info, I even called cs.

Welcome to the jedi forums, filled with many judgemental people (whether they know all the facts or just jump to conclusions).

Here are the answers:

1) I was told by a csr not to reroll my jedi or main since I was pre-publish 9. In an ideal situation, now that the system is changed you should be able to reroll the main, and still have an intact jedi, but if you delete the jedi, it is gone, you will need to turn the main into the new jedi.

2) Visibility, never be seen(up to 35 m) with a saber in hand, ignited, or using any force special by a NPC or player (grouped or otherwise). Visibility decays in 3 weeks, or clears if you are killed by a bounty hunter.

3) Imperials are low in number, but have some great factional perks likethe AT-ST and storm trooper armor, Rebels are the majority of players, but teh factional perks are adequate (but not up to an AT-ST). Light side Knights get an advantage over darkside jedi by having a greater bonus applied top their enhancer abilities, Dark side Knights get a greater bonus to their force powers damage. Trust me, teh light side is better off with the enhancer bonus (which is used correclty can completely nullify a master powers player).

4) Check all the stickies up top, lots of info up there.

As you can see by my post count, I avoid the forums unless its really important.

I finally got an answer from a csr. I can reroll the main as long as the jedi is at least a paddy.
