Hello, I find that it's getting really hard to gain apprenticeship points to become a master of a profession. I go to starports and other populated places for long times and use a macro to offer skills to people, but no one ever responds. Is there any easier, less annoying way of getting decent apprenticeship xp??

I've never had any problems after doing two things...
1: Put up my most likely to be needed or most advanced proffession as my tag: Brawler is often a very good one - but most Elites work well too.
2: Make my character searchable.
Then whenever I am in a major city rebuffing or whatever, it is quite common to get 2 or 3 tells asking for training. I often ask people to look for someone else first who may need the AP more as I frequently sit at 1240.

Depends on how cheesy you want to be. An easy way to get AP is to learn Hunting I and then go hunting Rancors with a friend who has Novice Scout. Each harvest will give your friend a rather large amount of XP and you can just train your friend over and over.

Hi
You could try to travel to Mos Eisley. It's the place where all the newbies "spawn". :-)
Talk to them, go hunting with them and you will eventually be able to teach them new skills.
And... it's definately less annoying than spamming the starports with macros.
Thank you.

Putting the helper tag helps when people are searching for help
. Also, I've even seen some folks offer credits, ie "training Marksman 4-4-4-4, 1000 credits per skill taught", or whatever ecomony scale your server has. As a last resort, buy a 2nd account.

Mos Eisly...
/yell Training Medic 4/4/4/4, I will pay 2500 credits for each skill I train.
Took about 6 hours. Of course medics are usually clustered at med centers and cantina.
Other options is again Mos Eisley. Offer to help new players, specially those who are picking up skill syou have and you can probably get a couple of hundred in an hour getting them the first box in most of their skills. Then off to the next person. You also can make some long term friends this way.

I know you can buy/sell FP, but AP is buyable/sellable too?
How is this done?

Use the most used skill in the game over and over which is Ranged Support 1.. You have someone train you, they drop it and train it again over and over...

Ah, so it's not a direct "transfer" thing like FP.Thanks for the info!
