I posted a long one a couple of hours ago and now it isn't here anymore. I tryed a search of my all posts and the engine returned all my post but that one, so it has evidently been deleted.

WHY?

Only threads that break forum policy get deleted. You may not have done this but one of the follow on posts may have been inappropriate. GarVa has said many time, that he will not reply to a thread asking about deleted threads but if you send a PM his way he will try to provide the reason the thread was deleted.
