Well tonight I figured I would fight against all odds and try to go out and kill me a krayt.
I got my buffs, ate my food, and drank the good stuff.
Hopped on my bike, went to the starport, shot over to Mos Entha and shuttled to Fort Krayt, one of the long standing towns on Eclipse that offer just about everything you need.
From there I shot over to the graveyard.
After about 5 minutes of swooping around I started to get a little antsy. I wasnt seeing any krayts, heck I wasnt seeing anything. About 20 minutes passed by and I came across my first spawn, RILLS!
SO I kept on going weeving and rubberbanding, rubberbanding and weaving when low and behold I found a spawn...of RILLS, the same from before.
This "RILL" madness went on for 45 more minutes until I was too tired/bored to go on.
I went home, and saw 10 times more life on my way from the Theed Startport to my house, a measly 1400k or so away from town.
So I saw one spawn on RILLS in over a hour of looking up to 2K in any given direction around the graveyard. I must be one of the few amazed by the krayt population explosion.

Since this population explosion Ive seen no more krayts than I did before - and I live outside the graveyard.
THe only thing that seems to have increased is the amount of people flying around on swoops holding hammers or t-21's looking for this increased krayt spawn.

I'm not 100% on this, but I think that now the krayt's spawn sporadically all over the planet. What's this mean? Well my friend and me were just killing low-end thugs in the middle of the dune see (about 4-5k meters southwest mos espa) and all of the sudden the spawns stopped. So we stand there and wait and hope for some more good spawns - I liked the loot they were dropping and he was getting good xp.
All of the sudden I see a red con/aggro spawn I look up and its a canyon krayt and a few seconds later a juevenile spawned as well. We weren't buffed so there was no chance in hell we would seriously be able to take them - but my friend wanted a picture so we ride over there and I get them both chasing me (awesome pic) but I end up in the cloner in Eisley within a few minutes.
I think that it's good for the game to have the krayt's spawn randomly all over the planet - or even if they spawned through a series of points. This will give rangers some more work in finding the dragons and you will probably see a bunch of "Krayt waypoint 100k" on galaxy/galaxy trade forums.

kill any lair or wild spawn in your way, make em spawn in the area you are hunting. we found some in strange places on tat, no where near the graveyard.

3 days now, with /areatrack, riding bike, riding mount, walking, killing everything in an area, just driving by everything, grouped and ungrouped. No luck...

I havent had any trouble finding dragons on Sunrunner, I even found them spawning near Jabbas palace !!!

They spawn in more places than the graveyard, only hunt em there if you want killstealers to harass your kills.
As for not FINDING any in the graveyard, you musta drove in a straight line. Went through there yesterday with a bud and saw 2 Giant Canyons, 3 Giants, a 4 Juuvies spread out in a 2k line.

Oh no, I wouldnt dare attempt the graveyard again, bad juju there, hehehe. Ive covered 1000's and 1000's of m's to no avail, no straight lines, set up over 40 wp's to create a patrol area, drove over it, rode over it and walked over it, the same area every time, using areatrack then getting disgusted and driving or riding through it. I'm just too damn stubborn to give up, Im going again tonight, lol.

From what I have heard, the spawns no longer happen at the graveyard specificly, but all over. I mean, really...the graveyard is where the Krayts to go die from old age and whatnot. To have their entire freaking population there isn't right.

when you go there try killing any lair you see to make room for the krayt lairs, and swoopa bit to activate any other spawns

Since the krayt spawn re-do ive killed 74 krayts, collected over 20 pearls and gods knows how many tissues and scales, the best thing you can do is go to krayt graveyard and near ben kenobi's house "yes there is a krayt skeleton there" make runs about 60 to 100m then stop for 30 sec for your map to catch up, look for 2 red dots always red then check them out.
Using this method I came across 2 ancients in one hour.
