Thread: How do I gain (insert name here) Faction? Here is your answer...

Whatever faction you are trying to gain, whether it be Valarian, Jabba, CorSec, Restuss, Hutt, Rebel, Imperial, or the other numerous ones in game, kill one of them, and then look at what faction you earned. That is what you need to kill.
Example:
You just did a Corvette mission for Jabba and you killed a few CorSec. You need to gain their trust back in order to walk among them. Kill one, and you will see that you lost CorSec and Beldonnas League Faction, but gained Rogue CorSec, Meatlump, and Lord Nyax. (plus a few others on each side).
Now go kill those guys and you will gain your CorSec faction.

Some NPCs in game do not give faction, I believe Dune Stalkers and Chunkers are a few. These you cannot gain their trust so just be ready to do battle when you see them.
Have fun out there, and keep an eye out for those red dots.

And don't forget, there is no current way to get Hutt faction back!

Now that I think about it, I believe you are right. I haven't killed any BlackSun so I wouldn't know what faction they are against. But I don't remember ever gaining Hutt Faction. I also haven't seen a normal Hutt NPC in a long time. I will cross that off the first post. Thanks for the reminder.

Uh you can get as much hutt as you want... kill valarians. You can get missions on them for sheesh sakes.

No, that is Jabba. I have -5000 Hutt faction points, and 1000 Jabba faction points, and I have finished Jabba's Palace. Hutt faction points only make Hutt Expeditionary Forces, on Yavin I think it is, attack you.
