Thread: Heightened Senses? medic/survey?

I’ve searched far and wide for information about the heightened senses branch in the boards, but alas, the information is limited or nobody answers the questions because most people have been doing reflexes/prowess.I can’t blame them actually. But for people like me who wish to obtain persuasion/luck from the senses, just how is it obtained? On the TC phase 1 and 2 threads I read people who took surveying missions or medical missions. On live I couldn’t find anyone but medical, which required master medic at the least in order to unlock the persuasion branch.I don’t see how that is justified first off, but regardless, I also don’t see how being a medic, you will need persuasion….is it

“hey…I think you should take this pill…it’s good for you”

“oh good idea” *gulp*

So basically I’m asking, in order to get the senses branches unlocked must I have master medic or am I missing the NPC for the surveying part?I’d appreciate any and ALL information about the heightened senses branch of force sensitivity. Thanks!

I glanced through the TC threads - it looks like the next phase or two has more to do with surveying than this phase. This phase is for Medics more than Surveyors.

I read that Persuasion gives you a discount on credit-cost for training. Which is silly. I wanted it, thinking it would give me a further Intimidation bonus or something. Though with the way real-life doctors charge, I'm not sure why Medic-types need a schooling discount.

hmmmm i thought persuasion was where i could be neara PC/NPC and everyone else would see me as alligned w/ that faction as well...hmmm...of course i also heard teh price decrease on alot of terminals/training/etc be interesting...i'm a master smuggler so i think the persuasion for alliances would be rather neat for roleplaying hehe...

I just wanted it for RP purposes for when I became a Force Of True Eeeeevil!

But I couldn't get it because I'm not a Medic.
