I have no clue what the star system for the forum is all about. Apparantly getting a star is a bad thing? I see it mentioned all the time that someone 1 starred different post, but still dont understand the meaning behind this even after searching the forums.

The star system is a way for other users to rate your post on a scale of 1 to 5, 1 being the lowest rating.

Therefore if you get 1 star, your post has been rated the lowest possible. This has the added effect of making it invisible to most users as the viewing options default to edit out 1 star posts.
