Thread: Emperor's Retreat mission trouble

Hello,
I am having trouble with one of the missions. It should be very easy. I am running the mission for Loam Redge and I need to talk to a slicer and have him come back to the retreat. My thug faction is -5000 so he attacks me whenever I get close and can't converse with him. Any idea of what I should do for this mission? I have a sick feeling that I will have to kill township people in order to lower it. If that is the case where is the best place to kill lots of township people.

Make a macro containing /conversationStart
Target the thug, approach him with weapon unequipped, let him aggro, run in front of him (as to not kill him with unarmed) and let him chase you for a minute. Hit /peace
After a minute or so of this he will stop attacking, AS SOON as he does start hitting your Converse macro.

I just finished this one yesterday - I did the slicer 6 times and crawling towards him while hitting /conver does work eventually..
BUT...
the easier way...
Kill him.. don't loot him.. and then type in /conver
You'll need this for the holodisk broadcaster as he will agro you as well
Told this to a guildie for whom it worked for today as well

I did the same thing back when I did the Emperor's Quest. The thug will attack you regardless. When he attacked me, I killed him, and then I targeted him to converse with him. It works.

Heh.. this needs to be fixed at some point.. everyone always has trouble with it.
