I don't know how the macroing will turn out but I do know how it will effect people if the repeating macroing is taken away. I don't know if anyone has posted a guide about this (sry if someone already has)
. But when I was grinding weaponsmith I invented for myself not a repeating macro but a macro that I can just press that allows me not to hit the next button through experimentation and such stuff when sitting near a crafting station. I basically did
/nextcraftingstage;
/nextcraftingstage;
/nextcraftingstage; <---need the third one to bypass the experimentation phase
/createprototype practice no item;
/createprototype practice no item;
/createprototype practice no item;
I used this macro cause I didn't feel comfortable using a recursive/repeating macro to help me grind so I just used this and selected the draft schematic manual put the items in manually when that was all done I just hit this. So I basically put my crafting kits in the toolbar selected them, positioned the cursor (the highlighted bar) over the item I was crafting just press enter, then double click the resources once they are filled up I just hit the toolbar that my macro is in and boom it finished up. I kind of want this to help out new players cause when I was first starting out I had never done macroing and took me a little bit till I found a way to do it in the weaponsmith forum. Also for you just starting out commandos I found a good way to make the most of your rocketlaunchers you just make a simple macro that does
/aim;
/ui action toolbarSlot05; <---- this is whatever your rocketlauncher is in the toolbar, remeber when looking at your toolbar you have to
subract one number so it coresponds. This is if I had it in my F6 slot.
and thats it. It will automatically do the aim commando for you then fire your rocketlauncher getting the most out of it and greatly increase your chance of not waisting a precious round. I have missed maybe 1 out of 15 to 20 times I have fired my rocketlaunchers maybe less. Managed to down a gronda with my rocketlauncher using this comand.
I will add some more helpful stuff for new players and hopefully other players will share some macroing tips so we can find a way around our little predicament with looping macros going away if they do. I say plan ahead and you won't get burned

I do most of my crafting macros the same as yours. it lets you craft at a speed that is good for you without having to fiddle with the pause of a repeating macro all the time.
These days I use macros for everything.
/target speeder;
/mount;
This is a small example, I find it better than just /mount speeder.

a good way to do it is bind a mouse button to your macro call for a single craft, or just bind the keys to individual parts.
right mouse being nextcraftingstage makes life a bit easier.
yeh, im one of these people that wants a mouse to have more buttons than my keyboard and 3d spatial awearness...
