Hi everybody,

It'smy first post so be gentle

I've often come across items witha warning like "....altered by smuggler....may draw imperial attention.....", I'm sure you know what I mean.

Now the question is: what will happen if you're caught with a similar item ?

It gets confiscated ?

You get fined ?

Shot on the spot ?

Or what ?

I could not find an answer using the search option.

Usually just a fine...however, if you're a Reb & the ST's are having a bad day, they may make you overt

For some reason, they ALWAYS seem to be having a bad day when they scan me.. almost like they're looking for me. Nothing like tooling out of town on your bike and suddenly you're standing still, surrounded by stormies,with your bike 500m away. Heh.

If you run away enough your name gets on their rosters and they always make you 'vert. At that point, just kill them all and take the TEF instead of running and going 'vert.

No they dont. they say, halt, you are being searched under law stupidystoop.

Yeah.. I learned that the hard way with my old character. Now, just a few 2handedspin attacks whilst whistling a merry tune lets me get back on my way in a few min.

I really can't let them scan me any more. Last time they did, they made me 'vert, and after I went to a recruiter to go covert again, when I logged back in the next day, I was overt again. And yes, I stayed online until the covert status came back.
