Thread: Dead eye and more

hello,
ok, i have been going around doing quests and such. one quest i started was the dead eye thing. i have gotten to the part where leia gives me amission, i have to go to protect some place but when i go to the place and wait for the troopers to come, i am unable to attack the troopers. yes i am a neutral player, if that matters.the troopers just slaughter the worthless rebels at the place and my mission fails. i would like a chance to fight the troopers so i can complete the mission.
another quest that is giving me a problem is jabbas themepark. im to where barada gives me a valarian thug to kill. upon running off to the waypoint, no one is there. barada offers no help and well im stuck since i cant kill whats not there.
and my final quest problem is in dantooine. i went to the jedi ruins there and i saw a guy standing next to a fire so i talked to him. he gave me a mission tokill someone and at first i didnt want to but i did. after that he gave me another quest then a 3rd quest, kill a padawan. upon arriving at the waypoint where the padawan is supposed to be, the padawan is there but i am unable to attack him and he doesnt seem to want to attack me. someone suggested to me that i lead some hostile creatures over to him but the creatures there do not seem to care about fighting the guy. again im stuck and if anyone can offer help itll be appreciated. thx.

If you dont take a side in the war, you cant take part in the war. End of story.

Sorry you need to be rebel or imperial to complete the dead eye quests. no way around itexcept possibly having someone else kill them all for you. It takes more than one person to complete that one anyways.

Unsure of this one... go take a different mission and then you should be able to restart his mission. if there isn't a way to just give it up.

more than likely the person you are attempting to kill is a factional person as well... if you are doing the dark jedi's quest then your target is an imperial.. I ran into the same problem, I just had a freind kill him for me while we were grouped. and that completed the quest.

You need -1imp faction pointsor less to attack imps. You will want to be master elite combat prof with good armor and buffs to do this solo. MBH solo didn't even cut it, i needed M pistoleer.

Happened to me a lot with mission #1, just take the mission over and over and over and over... i got my spawn on around mission 8.

Dont try this unless you have good armor and buffs and are far in a elite combat prof. You need -1 or less of the imp faction it you are taking the rebmissions.

How were you able to find Leia for the Dead Eye mission? Everytime I go to the waypoint, she isn't there.

thx people and i am aware of the difficulties of the troopers, i do like to examine targets. i have gotten 2 very different types of troopers while attempting to protect the place. one group had noticeably more energy resist than the others. i hear the troopers come in 3 waves so maybe their armor changes by the wave spawn also.
i found leia on endor, maybe you can ask the coordinator to give you a new waypoint till he gives you one on endor. on endor i found her at -49 86 and afterfailing the mission each time, she was still there.

There is a cave behind the waterfall in the Jedi temple ruins. There is a Jedi NPC in the cave as well as some aggressive creatures, but you can get to the Jedi without encountering any animals. Just hit CTRL+M and look for the white arrow which signifies the Jedi. She is sided with the rebels. I did the first two missions for her, but got killed on the third one, so I'll have to continue it later. So if you're on the side of good rather than evil, talk to her. If not, continue doing missions for the dark Jedi.

yeah i know shes there (there werent any creatures however). she will not talk to me i guess because i did some missions for that guy by the campfire. since i cant spell his name correctly i wont even try. i am undeclared and i have 300+ rebel points, and 500+ imperial points but 90% of those came from the warren. well actually its more than 90% but you get the picture. i am really a nice guy but the lady in the cave doesnt like me.
