Dear Mr. Lucas,

You probably don’t remember me – we meet in a theater back in the 70’s with your first Star Wars film.I enjoyed that very much.

Over the years I have see all the films and picked up a toy or two, some books and memorabilia along the way.I am a fan of old and new – once by film and the latest by the online game Star Wars Galaxies.

I have played this SWG since Beta – only dabbling with it – learning the ropes and then jumping into to it the day of release.Since then I have mostly enjoyed my experiences and the new friends along the way.

I now have more accounts than I would admit to my wife and of those, 2 are my crown jewels, the ones I play late at night – or during a break in the day.Yet of late – my enjoyment has not faltered but my faith in both of these meeting the expectation of the roles they represent are failing.

My Master Smuggler is not as challenged but for large monsters and droids.I struggle with the essence of the young Jedi who seems to be turning to the dark side because of the big monsters and droids that must be slain to rise to greater place in the universe.

I don’t have the answers for all to be satisfied – nor do I expect that others would even agree with me – I write this in hope – or in a sense of renewed hope that you would look upon our community and play with us to see why we are passionate about your – our universe.

I sincerely request that you really anoint each class of player with that special touch that you gave to all of the original cast – the instant bond – hate or mistrust we all could identify with each character as the plot unfolded.

Make it special for this older player and his young daughter to play together as the old weary smuggler and the young and able Jedi.
