Well there really seems to be a invisibility "exploit" or bug. It happened for a friend of mine who is on a trial account, he could run around and kill critters without them evennoticingor going aggro on him. I along with other players could not see him. From ones point of view thecritters just started getting damage numbers above their heads. With no messages on who is doing the damage in the combat window. I was grouped with him at the time, so I could see where his "toon" was, and his toon was stuck in the starport with half his body stuck in the stairs. But he could run around normally from his "point of view" and see us, it semslike he had a uuhm virtual astral projection. Anyone else experienced this bug? Just think of the havoc, if he was overt and an active PVP player people would just wind up dead with no one else in sight or idea what just happened.

It's a very old bug that seems to be creeping back into the game, as I experienced it again recently after not seeing it for several months. We used to call it "going ninja" when it would happen. It was somehow tied to when you were 'following' another player... if I remember correctly it would happen if someone went into a structure ahead of you, and you were on 'follow'... but it would also happen out in the open from time to time.
2 fixes for it: Everyone in your group can do a quick disconnect, and then log back on. This seems to work... or you can have the person travel a bit away from you (probably no more than 250m) and then come back to you. Most of the time you will both be visible to each other once you do that.
