Anyone know what happened to the free trial?
i finally got a few of my clan mates to get interested enough to do the trial and it says it has been inactivated?
what good is a trial if you don't keep up with it?

Trials don't last forever.

Perhaps you could buy the game one day, or maybe JTL will spark your guilds interest.

The reason the trial has been discontinued is to reduce stress on servers from players that do not pay to play the game.
Additionally it is to prevent existing players from opening multiple trial accounts and abusing them.
If you ask me, its pretty dumb to not have a demo for a game, you only have to look at the number of new players that came into the game after the trial period began.
Unfortunately if you've missed the boat you missed the boat.

This month PC Gamer (UK Version) had the free trial with it.....so this may have something to do with it......
It'll come back up at some point I'm sure.

i'm hoping they bring this back (it should have been something permanent) and just put even tighter restrictions on trial account. after playing for a year it is hard to get new players into the game on word of mouth alone.. them being able to try it first hand is much better than me trying to convince them to pay 50$ just to check it out..

I did the same thing, got some ppl to look into it, but only the trial expired. no real big deal, they always come back. Someone actually paid 50 bucks this long after release?

they haven't yet.. 50$ or even 35$ is too much at this point in time to shell out to just try a the game.. they really should have kept the trial going to give people a chance to try the game..
