Do you need to complete 16 boxes or 16 trees (aka 64 boxes)in order tobecome a jedi initiate?

24 boxes/6 branches.

No, you need to complete six lines of four boxes.

4 x 6 = 24

If I'm correct you need to complete 24 boxes, however I don't know if they can be random boxes, or 24 boxes in 6 branches.

You have to complete 6 trees. Each tree has 4 boxes for a total of 24 boxes. Then you have your shot against mallichae or whatever his name is.Kill that guy and his cronnies and you got initiate.

It has to be 6 branches, not random branches.

So for instance, the 6 branches I think I am going to train in are as followed:

Combat Prowess 0044

-Melee Speed

-Melee Accuracy

Enhanced Reflexes 4400

-Melee Defense

-Ranged Defense

Heightened Senses 0004

-Luck

Crafting Mastery 4000

-Crafting Experimention

This will complete the 6 branch requirement to move on to jedi initiate.

Yep 24 boxes it is... Oh and take a rifleman with ya on mallichae, much easier to get through!
