ok I get the quest from kine who needs his tools so I go to the abandoned imp camp and look throught the boxes and I can't find it. what am I doing wrong here?(yes I'v check all 8 box's there several times over)

Im not sure but if this is the one from myyydril caverns you need to go to the NE camp with 2 scout troopers check the box there and then go to the abandoned canp and check all the boxes there

I have to kill NK-3 and Necrosis now so im kinda stuck

Yeah but for part the abandoned camp you want the equiptment box looks different then the others.
