Tomorrow they are putting in publish 17 may i sugest starting a new character and going through the new tutorial which they are including in publish 17, trust i tried it on test center and it is much better than what i started the game with.
Youll want to settle in and learn the game before going after the difficult things so to start with its worth trying to meet a few people and possibly join up with an existing guild, if your in a guild its easier to get into things because youll hopefully playing with veteran players who can help you out as you go on.
Take my word of advice on the new publish which is being put in tomorrow its what you need to know to get into the game and it should get you started up nicely that should be where you start.
Then i would start to do the pilot missions to start with because these are easier to get into and learn aswell of being very good for making money to start with by selling your space loot to chassis dealers which are around most starports.
Have fun and i hope you enjoy being new to this game the very start was the most fun ever learning everything from scratch and exploring new places.
