Thread: Do faction affect pilot skills?

I'm considering going imp for a week or two.. only to do quests..
To do that, will i have to surrender my master alliance pilot prof?`
would appreciate an answer

Yes.
Imp on the ground can be Imp and neutral pilot. (Not sure if they can be SA tho.)
Reb on the ground can be Reb and neutral pilot. (Not sure if they can be RSF tho.)
neutral on the ground can be all 3.

Imperials can be Smugger Alliance pilots. Rebels can be RSF, but can't attack Imperials. I have no idea why a ground rebel would be an RSF pilot, but they can do it...

You shouldn't have to give up your profession. You wont be able to take any space missions for the alliance, because you will be grounded. My alt just started on her space quests, and i was allowed to do mission 1, then because she had -150reb fp she got grounded by the alliance and was gated until she could get her fp up to at least 0

If your a reb in space and you try and join the imp army they will say summin about you being in the rebel navy and wont let you join. Trust me, i've tried it.
