This may be a stupid question, and if so I apologize.
I recently trained for Master Carbineer. I was trying out my new skills on a flock of stormies in Mos Entha last night and noticed that I gained absolutely no Carbine XP or Combat XP when I dispatched them. I tried it out on a Corsec Trooper today and the same thing happened.
If I kill one of the many Meatlumps outside of Coro, I get the usual 1 Carbine XP, 0 Combat XP. If I had reached some sort of cap, I wouldn't expect to be gaining xp from the Meatlumps.
Is this the way it is supposed to happen or am I bugged in some way?

log out and your prolem will be fixed, you wont lose the xp that you didnt see recorded, you will get credit for that

Actually this occured last night and continued when I logged in a half hour ago.

then why worry? just log out, it should fix, and you will get credit for the xp... if it doesnt show the xp gains soon, then send a csr ticket

I did log out last night.
I logged in today, and it happened again.

Really? Does this extend to the Corsec Troopers as well? If so, I guess that explains it. Thanks.

Make sure your weapon is at full condition. Weapons at 0% will not only do little to no damage, but they also give you hardly any XP, like 1, 2 or none. This could very well be your problem.

just try killing something that isnt in an NPC city and tell us what happens...
