Thread: Storing Items in Buildings Advice Please

Hiya, I currently have a small naboo house with a storage of 75. I was wanting to store an awful lot more than that...i was wondering what the best way to do this is....I have considered upgrading to a large house which gives me 250 storage...But wasnt sure if there was a better way...I.e. buying a storage building(If such a thing exists) rather than a big house...
Any advise would be appreciated.
I want to store a lot of stuff in crates and also put up a display of weapons and armour I have come across.....Dont know if this helps with the decision...

Storage. . . That really all depends all what your desire is. If you plan to make a home out of a large house (6-lots) and display items, then use small houses (naboo round 1-lot, reg small naboo 2-lots) for storage.
I have a large naboo house that I made home. It has my furniture, weapon displays, rare artifacts, and faction uniforms. I use my small houses for storage and crafting.
It really depends on what your desire for your home to be. There are no storage sheds in the game. Its all houses, or it you become a merchant and place some vendors in your house, you can list an ungodly price on your items in the vendor and use it has storage.
These are the only ways you can store. Houses as storage or use vendors for storage.

People by a 2nd house for storage sometimes. That's what you may have heard of "storage houses".
You can hold more in medium and large houses, but they use more 'lots' that you are allowed.
A large house may use 6 lots. A small just 1 or 2 (depending on style I think)
So more people will buy 2 small houses so they have more lots available.
If you use 1 as a home, for your displays and vendors..etc.. then the 2nd home can be used as your storage.
The down side is more space is taken up, which makes people crazy. I don't see why you can't do it though.
I read somewhere they were supposed to eliminate property that people who have been gone for 6 months or more left behind.
Small: 75 items, Medium: 150 items, Large: 250 items (I think I have that right.)

One more option is a factory. Holds 100 items and only takes up 1 lot. That's 25 more items than a small round house. Not the nicest looking option, but at least everything is stored in one window and not laying around all over the floor or in packs. You don't need any special skills for a factory, so if you're not a crafter of any type, it's ok.
And don't forget (most people do) you can open a Safety Deposit box at your most convenient bank location and it also holds 100 items. Just remember that the bank location you choose is the ONLY one you can move the items in and out from.
