Thread: Any comin' back to the game after 6 months guides around?

So.... i not sure where to start, or how to start....
Should i play my old avatar (master chef with 30% pistoleer done) or start a new toon?
Are chefs still worth anything?
Also he's an imperial with -5000 rebel faction. Has the war changed?
Are there beginners quests/missions i would miss out by playing my chef?
What is the best prof. atm?
So many question, so little time.

I had similar questions about a week back. For Chef you should definitely check out the profession forum. I think you'll get your answer. I see an awful lot of emphasis on food buffs so you're probably in luck.
The war does not appear to have changed. I was gone for a year and the only thing I noticed was Imperial troopers sometimes stop me to look for contraband like sliced items. I have no idea what they do when they find something naughty.

The imperial crackdown was from last january. i believe you get fine if caught with contraband. Unless you re a hight enought ranked imperial officer.
