Don't surender any skills! Type /respec and you should have the respec screen where you can change professions. If it still works at least

So it is possible to change from Master Doctor to Master Bounty Hunter using the /respec screen?

Yes. Anyway you can try it. Anything you do on the respec screen is not saved until you press the "accept" button, or whateverthatbuttonis named.

You might not have enough skill point to do that, BH needs 2 novice profession (scout and marksman), doctor only 1 (medic).
But the respec screen will tell you that even before accepting the changes.

I have all the appropriate skill trees to have already got me part way intothe Novice BH box, but not enough xp or skill pointsyet to have completed it. So theoretically I would be able to respec all my Master Doctor boxes and substitute them to get to Master BH?
I think that makes sense. I'm at work at the moment so unable to get toexperiment with the /respec screen but will try later.

I have been away from SWG for over a year and decided to come back for a while. I have purchased the DD of RotW that includes the JTL expansion as well. I logged in for the first time yesterday and was presented with an option to respec my character. I am presently a Master Doctor with some experience working toward Bounty Hunter.
My question is this:
Can I surrender some or all ofmy Doctor profession skill boxesto respec to Bounty Hunter? or do I have to surrender like xp for like skills?
If anyone could take the time to give me some advice or simply point me in the direction of an article on the SWG web site that expalins in some detail the way /respec works,I would greatly appreciate it.
