Thread: Running the game problem

Heres my problem, since around patch 11.2 my computer started freaking out, it woudl be liek 26-30 fps 1 second, then the next at 3-4 then back and forth makingit impossible to pl;ay, i DLed the new direct x thing, and brought all of my graphics down, terrien detail down, and turned off all sound, and it ran smoothly agian, now about 3 weeks after that it started again, i ran a defrag and am starting the game up.
Some notes:
I rarly turn off my computer as i really lke watching dvds at night, i also leave SWG running during school hours so i can advertise my shop in theed, but not that often anymore, i want to know what i can do to get rid of this problem. Also i've noticed that since i was gone from SWG for 2 months to beta WoW (which i deleated from my hard drive) the game has gotten a lot more laggy. Any tips on what to do.

Oddly enough I run faster when I crank up the settings as my RAM doesnt have to swap out models and textures nearly as often. Try that.
