I don't know if this has changed, I've been away from the corvette for awhile myself, but I believe that only so many mobs will aggro up there. So if you get aggroed by the easy to kill mobs and just go your merry way, the battle droids are less apt to shoot you.

That's how I strolled past, oohh, about 10-15 in the engine room without taking a hit. As I said, I don't know if this has changed.

I just ran it solo a couple of days ago and it hasn't changed...as long as you go upstairs first and get aggro'd by stuff up there, you can wander through the2 large rooms with the SDB's in it without them moving. Usually nothing else aggros me til I get up on the bridge level.

As for the little room with the defunct droid & armoire in it, it has always had at least 4 or 5 SBD's crowded in there when I go. But I have less trouble there than in the armory since I always do my loot run after I complete the mission.

I do believe that initially, there were no SBD's in that closet - quite awhile back. They were put in there pretty quickly, once it was made obvious that people were doing mad loot runs with little consequence. I guess they wanted to give us a little surprise.

My theory has always been that the SBD's are in storage in there, and their motion sensors kick in once you enter the closet.

I did a run last night and FINALLY got a powerplant. Just run through there like mad. At least, I'm a TKM/Doc and that's what I do

K i tried to go up on the corvette tonight by myself to see if i could just get the av21 power plant, because i havent done the vette in forever and i still have the schematic... so i creep my way down to the bottom floor with the small room, armoir/defunct droid and to my suprise

6 SUPER BATTLE DROIDS!!!

needless to say they all incapped and killed me... when i first did the corvette there were no SBDs in that room... why would there be?? the rooms slightly bigger than a closet... would SBDs be protecting something more important than a closet? guess not

guess Im just going to have to pay 2 mil for one instead , which is retarded

In that room there has always been 6 - 10 sbd's... ALWAYS

Just run thru them not clicking on anything , disable the elevator thingy and go out , maximum 1 will agro you and you lose him anyhow later ...

Just run in and out like before, nothing too it. 6 is not that many when you really start doing it over and over in the same day.

First time you go up there are very few SBDs around, the number increases with each successive run you make, successful or not, until some threshold or set of conditions is met (not quite worked out what these are) and then they reset back to the original number of maybe 1 on the top floor, 3 or 4 in the engine rooms and none in the droid/armoire room. Then it starts to build up again. I've done 150 or more corvette runs, never quite worked out how/when/why the SBD count resets, but it does.
