Thread: Death Star Wreckage

The JTL article posted on the main SWG site says that in space the tester "Stumbled upon the wreckage of the Death Star when Hypering into Yavin". Anyone have the coordinates to this wreckage? Is it even worth visiting or just a unrecognizable floating space debris?

It's mostly just space debris. Anything salvagable has already been salvaged by the pirates and miners in the area.

Its really not that exciting. Its just like every other debris field, just a bunch of tie and x-wing parts floating around.

And the big "asteroid" which curiously enough looks a lot like what is left of the Death Stars weapon dish.

On a side note, whenever I first bought the game way back when, in the previews it stated there was death star wreckage on the planet yavin IV.

I've been all over the planet but haven't seen any. Is this still in the game past beta testing?

there are some turrets to be found on yavin. So, yes there is reckage there...but it aint anything that great.
