Last year we got the Holocrons... whats in store this year???

BoOoo i dont want a couch.. my bet it will be something like a model ship or something like that..

Ok... Perhaps I should preface this witha spoiler warning or something like that. If you only want speculation don't read the rest of my post. On Test Center they are getting Life Day Orbs and paintings of wookiee patriarchs and matriarchs. I believe the life day robes are hitting as well, but I could be wrong.

I have heard of Life Day paintings, They are rewards for quests (non-combat) that can be taken from Wookiee seen wearing Life Day Robes in Vreni Island on Corellia, The Lake Retreat on Naboo, and Anchorhead on Tatooine. Anyhow, These Wookiee will send you on a quest to "learn about Life Day" as it were. You'll be sent to Endor, Yavin 4, or Dathomir. Once there, you'll find a Hut with 4 Wookiee inside. Speak to the Elder first, and he'll instruct you to talk with the others. Once you've done so, return to the Elder for your Painting. It is to my understand that players of the Wookiee persuasion are offered the choice of a Life Day Robe, or Life Day Orb in addition to, or instead of the painting. I'm not certain on that though. That's the best I can give you.
As far as our "Holiday Reward" ... I think it's the Combat Revamp. From what I've heard it will completely re-write Combat from the ground up, making Galaxies a brand new game. The game it was intended to be. Mind you this is what I'm hearing from players, not from the Developer Propagande
That to me is the best Holiday Reward I could ever ask for.

I personally am not looking forward to the combat revamp because I think its going to lessen the power of a teris kasi master which is the only combat proffesion I am...

LOL, I WISH our holiday gift would be that ALL caves would be instanced for yourself and/or your group. No more going tusken fort to find it camped, or having one person follow you around griefing your kills and stealing your loot rights. No more getting halfway through the lost aqualish cave, only to get hung up on the tough guy in the side passage while some UBER tank who has been playing combat sense day one runs past you and kills everything else in the cave.
And lastly.... no more finishing an easy cave in 5 minutes, and waiting an hour for it to respawn.
But that is just my wish. Who knows what we'll get.

As far as I know they aren't even beta testing thecombat revamp yet so it's very unlikely that will be ready for the holidays. Maybe by March.

I think he was asking what we getTHIS holiday, not what we get Holiday 2005

IMO, the gift should be that it becomes OK to call it a "Christmas" gift.

on christmas day when u log on a screen should come up for people with combat profs, and they should be able to choose any kind of weapon coressponding to there prof, and then give it the same stats as one of the weapons they can use at high levels, and customize it. Cause, i mean, look at star wars, lightsabers werent the only weapons that were customized and cherished. as far crafters and ents etc....uhhhh lol

lol they said the combat revamp betawouldnt start till some time after the holidays so it wont be for x-mass and as for only playing as a tk i think by what the dev's said were gona get what the jedi got were we can realocate out fighting skill points into profesions of our choice hence why they were putting it on tc for a bit when its finnished.
