Thread: Can't start a new quest. NPC says come back when you've finished your current task

I'm trying to start a rebel assasin mission. I know the starting NPC is Pashna Starkiller in Bella Vista. But when i talk to him he says 'I could really use your help, but I see that you're already busy. Come back when you've finished your current task and perhaps I'll still need your assistance'.
I dont have any current missions in my data tab.
How do you get by this?

I hate to say this, but sounds like you need to send in a bug report. Any NPC I talk to always gives me the option to cancel my current mission to work for them instead.
Just a side note, if you do send in a bug report. Don't hold your breath for a reply, that is if they reply.
Hopfully someone else has had this problem and knows a work around though.

Sounds like you either have a corvette ticket in your inventory now, or you've talked to one of the other Vette NPC's. Either you have to go visit each of them (Reb & Neutral) and tell them you can't work for them, or find the one that will talk to you & do that Vette mission in order to clear it.

No, I dont have anything like that in my inventory. I get that when i talk to the starting NPC from one of the corvette missions. I also get it when i talk to one of the starting NPC's for a Jabba mission ( not the Jabba themepark )

I have the same problem. Everytime I ask a NPC, in this case "Adar Tallon" he tells me; -"Ah, you're here, but I see thatyou're already busy. I could've used your help. Maybe come back when you've finished you current task." I don't have started other quest before I whent to this NPC. It's empty in my Datapas and questjournal.
Someone who can help me, please?

First, make sure that you don't have any open quests from the Village. If you do, go complete it or abort it.
If you don't have such a quest, find a criminal, or a scientist, or some other trivial quest NPC. They should say something like, "I see you're already working for someone else, would you like to work for me?"
Then click on "Yes" and stop conversing with them. That should free you up.

Do you have a ticket for the Corvette in your inventory already? For instance, if you're a rebel, are you holding a ticket for one of Jabba's corvette missions? If so, just delete that ticket.
If not, I suggest sending in a CSR ticket via the Holocron <ctrl - h> saying you need help getting the quest for the corvette ticket. Your character might be bugged.

Tnx for answer. I have now tried to ask a criminal and other NPC that can give me some quest/missions. Everybody gives me quest/missions,exept the NPC that can give me corevette missions. Is there something I have to do beføre I ask them for missons? Is this a bug?
The NPC says the same thing I wrote in my last post.
