Has anyone figured out yet if you can set up a camping macro?

I know I can drag my camp kit to a hotkey and activate it that way, but is there a command line for setting up and disbanding a camp (i.e. /setupcamp, /disbandcamp)? I have yet to find a way.

Don't think there are any command line er commands you can type to activate something in your inventory.

youre the second person ive seen mention putting camps on the hotkeys. why? you can only store 1 in there right? or am i doing something wrong??

Is there a command to launch and disband a camp or does this have to be done from the inventory and your camp status ( respectively ) manually?

I looked myself to see if I could macro the camps but there is no command that I found. the /help is no help at all ether. It has commands from beta still. Commands like GodMode. ( Which does not work so dont bother. ) Anyways, if there is a command which I doubt then its something easy and weve over looked it.

I rember seeing something about making one along time ago. Is it possible to set one up? I don't mind getting the XP myself, but I'd like something to run while I'm gone.

Doesn't this fall under unattended macroing? Is it legal by game rules?

It's illegal? I see people macro sampling all the time. Maybe I won't bother with it then. Thanks anyways

Well that's why I'm asking. I've yet to hear of anyone being booted from the game for simply macro'ing except one. But I think this person was doing something exploitive... not 100% sure

But, like all of you, I've not heard of anyone getting banned for it.

I have considered macro'ing by camps because the survival 5 grind is really getting on my nerves.

This is how I'd do it:-

Swithc to a new blank button bar pane
Craft 24 camp kits
place 1 camp kit each in all 24 of your button slots

And the macro would go

/ui action toolbarSlot00
pause 3600 (roughly 60 minutes - camps auto disband aftet 50 something minutes)
/ui action toolbarSlot01
pause 3600

etc. etc.

But I haven't actually done it yet, I'm trying my hardest to resist and get my survival 4 the official way but man is it booooorrrriiinnng.

You can't macro sample anymore. The devs put a clever little pop-up box that asks you if you want to dig in another area at a higher HAM cost, which could yield more resources. I tried a camping macro, but, it was too tedious. But at one camp an hour it takes too long to be all that useful, or practical (at least for me).The cap on them was lowered to 15-20 minutes after the first big patch. You can get 3-4 times the survival experience. Now while you sit in your camp you can heal wounds and also craft more camps, and craft traps and earn Survival XP that way as well. I would just do things around the house while I was camping. The survival branch wasn't that bad for me. It was actually the first branch I completed in the entire game and I'm a Master Marksmen and a Master Scout.
