You know, in my day...I was one of the highest post counts.
Highest post count on Eclipse, well, if I kept posting, I definately would, I don't know about now.

you have to find your specific faction deep space station (not really ''deep space'' btw), and talk to them, and you'll get the option. For instance, for rebels, we have to go to dantooine space, and go to the station there. don't know about imperials or freelance though, sorry

If you are rebel, it's in the dantooine system at the deep space station
If you are imp, it's in endor at the claw station
If you are freelance, it's in dath at the Last Nav Station.

As an Imperial - travel to the Imperial Claw station in Endorian space. The closest hyperspace point is the Durillum Sea and the station is about 3k from that point. Fly within 1000m of the station and contact it as you would any other space station. Select "I want to go to Kessel"

Thats not right for Rebel, you need to use the Rebel station in dant. The deep space one is freelance only.
