Thread: Friday Feature Screens of Player Cities
We're getting closer to testing Player Cities. Thought you might like to see a couple screenshots of assets. This page shows concept art and screenshots ofthree of the player city buildings. Notice concept does always dictate final design. All of these buildings (and the several we haven't made screenshots for) are available in the usual planet varients.
The final screenshot shows a working city management terminal and the happy mayor of a small town.

Why on earth is there a city "managment terminal"? Shouldnt there be a city hall, where mayoral functions would take place ?

Wow... Q, I like these things and these ideas, but do you realize how much nicer the concept art looks than the actual representations of the buildings (sans the parking)? The art gives a big distinction between the styles of the buildings, is much more complex, and seems to look like it'd be more functional. The screenshots... they all look about the same.
I realize there's only two others besides the parking, but regardless. The concept hospital looks great, and the screenshot is just another multi-door block!
So now we know what those buildings with white forcefields are!

Question Q:
What will the min. requierments be for a player city and will terrain make a diference?
My PA has a sweet location for our town, but we fear that the odd landscape will make a city not work. It is FAR from all in game cities, so we should be in a city build zone I would hope! ![]()
