Two nights ago fighting NS's on Intrepid, I died rather suddenly. Since I had been holding my own quite well, I was surprised, but when I reviewed the log I saw 3-4 hits in a row right before I died that showed that my full suite of composite armor (80/80/80/70 base) only 'redcued' 1 of them. The rest got through with full damage killing me.

First thing I checked was if any of my armor pieces was at 0 condition, but all of them were fine. Then I checked if they were 'force attacks' which I don't think the armor reduces. One of them was, the other three said " blah blah (a nightsister stalker)swings at you and hits for XXX points of damage." So one of these 3 non force attacks was reduced by my armor but the other 2 got through with NO reduction so I died.

I've got a screenshot I can post if anyone is interested, but I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this?

Do NS's now have stun batons? I haven't played much since they gave them their specials back, but I hadn't heard they had stun batons.

ya NPC can use any weapon ingame. NS seem to be melee only so any melee weapon. i have had an elder pull a stun baton on me, and i ran like a sissy.

Alright, thanks guys ... that's probably what happened. Next time, I'll use my stun armor. 0.O
