Thread: Erm, cant pick my paintings up from storage... Any way around this or is it just another glitch?

Hey, I put a couple of paintings in unlocked containers and one in my travelpack (in my house) but now I cant pick them back up :S

Is there anyway around this or what?

make sure you have enough room in your inventory. Remember the container is 1 item and the painting inside is another so it is at least 2 items. Also make sure you backpack isn't

unequiped because that could be 51 items clogging up your inventory. Without more details its difficult to diagnose your exact problem. If you have an access problem you will see a

message displaying that you don't have access to the container.

I don't think he was trying to pick the backpack up, he was trying to pick the paintings up from a backpack, etc. Its just an oddity, but rather common actually. Just open your inventory and DRAG the painting into your inventory rather than trying to use the radial pickup command.

Ah yes it could be this as well. If you have the yellow icon when you mouse over the paintings instead of the blue pickup icon then yes you will need to drag it from the container to your inventory.

Drag and drop only way for me. Not entirely sure why but at least it works.
