Has anyone else noticed doing this while wearing a 4 piece suit of comp seems to make your action bar vulnerable? Mine was getting pounded all day and I couldn't figure out why. Took off the skirt and now everythings ok.

It's probably just because you're not wearing compo pants.. This means any leg hits the enemies do on you aren't blocked, so they do full damage..

And leg hits = action damage, just like chest and arm hits = health damage andhead hits = mind damage

If you wear boots and no pants your protected. Boots + helmet + gloves + chest plate = full protection aka 4 piece suit

As far as I'm aware, this was fixed a while back, but if I'm wrong, I'm wrong - just seemed to meto be the most obvious cause

Some clothing cannot be worn with the 4 piece suit. Skirts and fighter suits are a few. Wearing these clothing items under the armor reproduces an armor hole.

Try wearing a 4-piece suit in the DWB... we have seen what happens when you do that. 4-piece suits might be ok for lower/medium level NPC's and such.... But vs high level NPC's it's a no go.

After just a few trips, our tanks refuse to go to the DWB without a full suit.

PVP is one of the places where a 4-piece suit is used a lot, because of the common assumption that boots = full leg protection, and such. Try duelling a pikeman when wearing a 4-piece suit. Then tell him to do leghit/action hit. No protection what so ever.

using a "mini-suit" offers the benefit of still having good protection, but not having a lot of encumberance. But it does not offer full protection like acomplete suit.

Almost all the tanks in the Radiant DWB elite team only wear the 4 part suit, including myself. Ive tanked 3 SBD's + others at times with no problems. Having 90% kinetic/energy resists helps a lot too.

it's not the SBD's that's the problem... it's the Wraiths and the Ghosts... when wielding a LVA, and doing some nasty pikeman specials.

We have had our tanks recieve 6.8k damage in 1 hit due to hitting a part not covered by armor... because of the 4-part suit... it's happend on several occations... but never since we made it a rule that everyone had full armor on (exept jedi).
