Thread: Message board signature guide for those that dont speak HTML
There is a simple way to get a prettycool signature for the SWG forums....
While you are in the reply window making a response to a thread, makea sig just how you want it using all of the tools provided above. Fonts and sizes, colors, bold,justification all of those sorts of things. After you get it looking just about how you like it go down to the bottom of the reply window and click on "Edit as HTML" and poof, it turns your pretty sig into HTML format that you can cut and paste into your sig area under "My Profile".
From there you can tweak it but this way you are for sure not going to have HTML errors because it is using the tool the boards provide to make messages in the first place. If you do decide to tweak from there you are on your own and run the risk of creating errors.
Remember, your signature is limited to like seven lines in the message body. So if you make it too big it may come up only showing half or look funky in some way. If that happens it is no problem. Simple go back into your "My profile" cut the HTML code out of your signature area and paste it back into the reply window. After you are back in the reply window with your funky sig look down at the bottom where the "Edit as HTML" button was and notice it has changed to "Graphical Editor". Click that and it will revert from HTML to the nice sig you made earlier.
Now, the easy way to check your sig without making an annoying "Sig test" post is this. Scroll up to the top of the page and look to the left, click on your username and it will take you into a Profile screen. Scroll down and click on "Find all posts by this user". Now just select one of your old posts. There you will see your old post with your current signature. Now scroll up and click on "My Profile", here is where you enter or cut/paste your HTML for your sig. Now use the "Back" function on your internet browser to get back to your old post, be sure to SAVE the new signature before going back. When you get there hit refresh and view your new signature. Your signature is replaced on all of your posts on this board.
Well I hope this helped and of you wanting cool signature and did not know HTML. 
I know it is not really a "Game Guide" but I like many others was searching for an easy way to do this without having someone else do it for me. Good luck coming up with a pretty new signature and make this board a better looking place in the process

Guess some people only read the first part of your advice, crazyboarder. It seems most of them stopped reading beforethe part that reads: "Now, the easy way to check your sig without making an annoying sig test".
