Hi all,

I have been trying to "cut and paste" some text from a Micro$haft Word file into the in-game E-mail window to send it to a friend in game. However I cannot seem to acomplish this (cntr-P just opens my "Personal info" window).

Is there a way to "cut and paste" text from an outside source into the game? I really don't want to spend an hour re-typing this thing.

Yes you can.. you first of all have to map keys to the paste option...

Goto options (CTRL+O) then select "Controls" and click on "Keymap",,

In the new window, goto the "Chat" tab and scroll down to "Chat Edit Copy", "Chat Edit Paste" etc.. and map keys to them..

I use CTRL+SHIFT+C for copy, CTRL+SHIFT+X for cut and CTRL+SHIFT+V for paste (so they are similar to the windows commands.)

You can then use them to copy and paste text to and from the clipboard as usual

Another neat tip I read recently that REALLY helps merchants and bazaar-sellers:

This window allows you to save snippets of text (including ones that have /#ff00ff color codes for emphasis) and is a great companion for the copy/paste commands mentioned above.
