Thread: Problems with waypoints

My friend has been having this problem for about 4 days now. He can create a waypoint and it says it has been created but there will be no waypoint. He cant make waypoints for anything .... it just says created but nothing shows. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem or knows a fix to it?

This happens if you have 100 waypoints stored, thats the max you're allowed

hmmm i just asked him and he said he only has about 20 or so. I dont know whats going on with that.

Is that with the "Display all planets" box checked (or "display only this planet" unchecked, I can't remember how it's labeled)? So if he's sitting on Tatooine and that box is checked/unchecked he won't be counting any Naboo/Dantooine/Yavin/etc waypoints.
You might also have him check the space used bar on his datapad. IIRC, draft schematics from crafting professions use up this space, so if he's (say) an Architect/tailor the number of items he can craft is probably taking up the majority of the datapad space. Along with any droids, pets, vehicles, waypoints, and/or manufacturing schematics he may also have.

Thanks i'll ask him about this. The main thing is that the sith's attacked him and he got the disk from them and now he cant goto the waypoint and kill the sith camp. He said he usually always has the planet only box checked for waypoints. I 'll tell him to look at them all. But when the siths come to you dont you only have to travel a short distance to find the came on the same planet. Or do you have to sometimes travel to different planets to find the base?
