Thread: Working off -5000 Imp Faction ??

I recently brought a friend over to the dark side *evil grin* what is the most efficient means to work off -5000 imp faction?
I've heard that the imp outpost on talus and dant are good places. Is either one better? Also can they still get faction points if we group and do the imp missions from the outpost even if they can't kill rebel npc's.
Any advice or tips would be appreciated thanks

They cant kill rebels until they become imp. The only way to work it off is for you to delegate the FP to him using /delegate (amount) while overt or to have your friend run through imp missions until he works them off.

Yeah I hate it that SOE made Jedi faction based. If anyone should be true neutral, they shoud with faction hits of either light side or dark side.. NOT be a imperial or rebel. They should have faction tef's, BH tef's etc.. etc..
The best change ya got to work off faction is to find a player made rebel factional base and run missions from it. I had about -2500 to work off when I saw the light and went Imperial. Rebel scum

Or visit a smuggler with Imperial Colonel rank. You can purchase fp from them for around 125-150 credits per faction point.

go to the imp outpost on dantoonie. even though he wont get be able tokill rebels he can kill missions that give neutral npc's but its about 50 fp per lair. The fastest way would be a master smuggler.
But then again i did it with a flamer and within4 days i had gone from -5000 to having a full set of st armor

Hi,
Easiest way is to find a friendly master smuggler with the rank of coloneland see if you can do a deal with him. Even if he will do it for say 120 creds / fp, 5k fp will cost 600k credits which is the same as 20 Janta missions at 30k a pop. You can earn this while earning xp for fs xp if you are trying to unlock your jedi. Cheapest you could ever get it would be cost price which is 94.4 creds/fp which comes to 472,000 creds for 5k fpbut not many smugglers offer that
Of course prices may have changed since I was smuggler but 120 creds/fp was the rate I used to transfer fp to people I didn't know.

I went and bought 5000 imp faction for 550k... then i did the arren missions... that's 500 fp... then i had enough to turn imp... then i did the imp themepark and got a few promotions in...

Just hit up your galaxies trade forum and post that you wish to buy 5200 Imperial Faction points. Like others have stated, it should cost about 120-150 credits per point. This is the quickest way if you have the credits. If low on credits, work with your friend to get the credits. It's still the fastest way.

Go to the imperial outpost on Lok
The missions are harder (more FP) than anywhere else
