Thread: Art Crate???

I just looted what looked like a piece of the nabooian sculpture loot kit. It was labeled Art Kit. It had an option to use on the radial menu. When I used it, it turned into a statue. Looks like a stone carving of a guy with long hair and a tail. I don't know how to put pics on here. If someone tells me how I'd be more then happy to.

That statue's craftable by architects. The only "unique" thing to come from the art crates is a small sculpture made from wood blocks.

Assuming you mean Art Crates, they come from NPC's in the Deathwatch Bunker.

There are three possible "Pieces of Art" from the Art Crates. As Crowne said, the block is the only "new" item. The other two are the blue statue you got and the gold "wierd" statue. Both can be made by architects. The only thing special about these is that they're looted. From my experience, and I've opened about a dozen crates, if you get the block, you will also get one of the others (for a total of two statues in one crate). The most common item for me has been the "wierd" statue.

You can loot them from containers in the DWB too. In the 1st room where all NPCs spawn and people camp, through the door and to the right there's a small room w/ SBDs and a container. When a broken rebreather isn't spawning in the container, it'll drop art crates. I got mine from there - either when the room was empty from people aggroing the SBDs and dragging them outside or when the SBD was facing the corner and I could walk (not run) and avoid aggro. 1st crate had wood block + one other of the craftable pieces, 2nd had the other craftable. The craftable ones (weird and strange statues) look the same but they are labeled and described in the /examine window as "A Piece of Art" just like the old Xmas art.

Huh. I ran across one of these a while ago, and decided to toss it in my storage in case it ever came in handy. Maybe I'll find the container it's in and open it up.
